The Emissions Database for Global Atmospheric Research (EDGAR) provides global past and present day anthropogenic emissions of greenhouse gases and air pollutants by country and on spatial grid. The current development of EDGAR is a joint project of the European Commission JRC Joint Research Centre and the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency (PBL). Emissions of N2O (nitrous oxide) - Total include the following EDGAR subdivisions: "Energy", "Agriculture", "Waste" and "Others" EDGAR subdivisions. "Energy" comprises production Public electricity and heat production Other Energy Industries Manufacturing Industries and Construction Domestic aviation Road transportation, Rail transportation , Inland navigation, Other transportation, Residential and other sectors, Fugitive emissions from solid fuels, Fugitive emissions from oil and gas, (IPCC category 1A and 1B); "Agriculture" comprises Enteric fermentation, Manure management, Savanna burning, Agricultural waste burning, (IPCC category 4); "Waste" comprises landfills, Solid waste disposal on land, Wastewater handling, Waste incineration, Other waste handling, (IPCC category 6); "Others" include Production of chemicals, Production of metals, Forest fires, Grassland fires
